Coming to an end..

June is coming to an end, I for sure have mixed emotions about leaving Pilot Butte and starting High School in the fall. Its sad to leave Elementary and start growing up and becoming your own person and starting to make decisions for yourself. Mom and Dad won't be there by my side forever to guide me in the right direction. But I'm happy to become a young adult and get treated like one. I have came so far in Pilot Butte, and I'm really proud of myself especially this year: I've succeeded in sports, school and met new people and have had a lot of fun this year with everyone! And of course there's always gonna be a few ups and downs along the way, but sometimes life throws things at you and you just have to deal with it. Our school dance is tonight and we all get prettied and have a blast for a few hours :). And also next week we have our farewell pictures and farewell field trip, wooohooo!

Thats all for now

P.A.A.experiences..and Good Spirit Bound!

P.A.A. this year was a blast and every week or second week we had it I was excited to come and have a few good laughs and do a little work here and there! Our first class in P.A.A. we learned all about a computer, and it was kinda cool to see inside one and learn about it. I loved photography and thought it was really cool to take a normal picture and turn it into something pretty amazing and display my work. After that Jenna and I had to make our little Hygiene power point...that was interesting and we had a few inside jokes along the way, which is always good! Then all our classes were done and food studies had been preparing for our BIG camping trip and all the presentations were done so we would know what do to on the trip. Preparing for the camping trip we made our lists and had a good idea what we were going to take and what food should be packed. We planned our meals out and all agreed of what we were going to eat, then decided to go shopping and get our food and drinks.
Our camping trip to Good Spirit was very interesting, there was good and bad times and can honestly say I learned a few life lessons. If felt like when we got there and unpacked we just had to get packed up again and leave, so it was a fast and refreshing trip and nice to get away from school and do something different with everybody. I must say the bus ride there was golden with Randi, Tyler, Sam and I...we had a few good laughs and toke some pretty epic pictures that will last forever. When we got to Good Spirit we set up camp and made our famous Kraft Diner and hot dogs, then we had a few minutes to get ready and do our geocashing and pond studies. Megan and I caught two frogs and I was screaming when we did, and Travis was yelling at me to shut up!! We got back to camp and had some down time and made supper, we had chicken burgers and caser salad. After that we did our camp wide games planned by Miss.Randi Peat and Trevor Lang..it was good and Sam and Spicer butted heads(literally). At night we all hung out and had our laughs and inside jokes, although there was "girl drama" stirred up with everyone, I didn't want that to ruin the trip..so we tried to put that aside and be positive. Life is what you make of it and lifes to short to be mad. Megan and I were up all night except for 2 hours and we were laughing extremely hard and the odd snort came out too! We woke up early and had breakfast, did our 5km hike, had bush pies for lunch and lastly packed up and left. I learned alot this year in P.A.A. and will take a few life lessons and skills along with me. And I have to say the bus ride, mini golfing, and staying up all night was some of the best times and our inside jokes will be there forever. It was a great trip and will stay will be forever.

Oh hey June, Your looking lovely today!

WOW!
Its already June and my Elementary career is coming to an end so quickly, this year went by so fast and I would for sure say grade 8 was my best ever at Pilot Butte School. I hope I really embraced grade eight and can take memories with me and they will last a life time. Term 3 has been okay, but stress ful at times and really and pushing for a gold honoural.
Summer will be great if mother nature gets her act together and can create some sunshine so I can get a tan.
I'm going to camp and camping with my family, I also am trying out for a modeling agency thats called "the edge"! And over the summer I have a few babysitting jobs set up that I can hopefully make some extra money from.
I will keep you updated on my stressful but great life!

Life..

Elementary School is almost behind me and I am going to the big boy and girl school after the summer. I am nervous but ready to move on in my life and start to grow-up and really feel as though I am turning into an adult. I will be trying out for volleyball in the fall and hopefully making the team at Greenall. It will be a whole new chapter in my life that I want to embrace and take all the memories with me forever and ever from my high school experience.

Cyber Communication, Good or Bad?

Wow! Its unbelieveable of how technology has changed in the past 50 years from going to nothing to being able to use all our social websites and communicate with people around the world through facebook, twitter, myspace etc. I believe to text and communicate online it is an advantage and good way to stay in touch with your "people".But when you can't get away from facebook or your cell phone then you know your addicted and thats not always a good thing. There can be lots of dangerous things on the internet and you can get into lots of trouble, thats the bad thing about technology I don't like. People can stalk you and check out your twitter and facebook status and pictures you post online, that's not a good thing. But all and all its great we have cell phones and facebook those are two major ways our world communicates with each other. Teens have to be very careful online and know what they are posting online and what the consequence is if they aren't thinking.

Easter Break..Term 2 overlook

My Easter Break was relaxing, but went extrememly fast, too fast! I spent most of my time at home and or with friends. On Easter Sunday I went to church in the morning with my relatives and then came out to my farm and we had a big supper at my house.
On Tuesday night Jenna, Randi, and I had a sleepover party at Randi's house and stayed up till 7:30am in the morning! The next I was in Regina doing errands and shopping, so I was very tired but it was worth it and I got throught it!
On the weekend I was up in Weyburn with my sister and mom, my sister had a dance competition, so I went up to watch her and we had a great time. This year I am not in dance so it was very different for me not to be on stage dancing. I had a good long break and was ready to come back to school and get into routine again and see all my friends.

And for my Term 2 mark I came out on gold honoural, which I was surpised about and very proud of myself, my average was 91%. I couldn't attend my interview but it went well with my parents and my school life is good. Our Badminton season is also almost done and we have divison this weekend in Norte Dame I am hoping Megan and I will be very successful!

Term 2 Reflection...

Today our reports are out and term 2 is done, and soon enough summer will be here. I have 3 months of elementary school left and then off to the big girl and boy school! I will miss coming to Pilot Butte everyday but I am happy and nervous to move on and get more opportunities in high school and meet lots of new people and do new school work.
My overall look of term 2 was good but I struggled in math, math was my lowest mark and my overall mark was 80%, now that is not bad for me but I know I can do much better and try to achieve an 85 or higher for term 3. I did very well in every other subject and think I just squeezed in a gold honoural for this term but I'm really not sure yet and if my honoural says silver, I am totally okay with that and am going to stride for an overall gold medal in my grade 8 year. My sports life has been great I am on the badminton team and have a track meet tomorrow in Regina. Easter Break is coming up and that will be a nice refreshing break! :)
Our volleyball team has still not had their wind-up, so on Monday we are and Tuesday is the Hedley concert, it will be a blast!

PS.. My favourite in the whole wide world is Sebastian!

Thanks for reading my post,
